Once you have gathered all your images and memorabilia and have chosen the size of your book, then you are ready to share your collection with us. Just fill out the electronic form and email or mail it.

If all of your memorabilia is electronic, then you can share it with us via:

If you have some or all hard copies and need us to make it electronic then:

Review

You’ll receive a pdf of your book with the opportunity to make one round of changes/edits to your book design. This is the time to add captions or decide on the perfect title when you’re able to see everything in one place! If your project requires additional edits and re-designs, they are available for a fee.

Your consultant will design a momento to enhance the details of your images, bringing the memories back to life every time you open your book.

I have a ton of photos and no time to organize them into a book. How do I get started?

The first step is to contact Memories WOW! at (773) 209-2933 or info@memorieswow.com. Your free initial phone or email consultation will provide you with all of the “Without the Work” options available for your project. Whether you lack the time, inclination or creative confidence to make your own Memory Book, we’ve got you covered!

How do I submit my digital images?

You can share your images via online file sharing sites such as Google’s Picasa (http://picasa.google.com) or Drop Box (https://www.dropbox.com/), or mail a dvd, cd, flash drive or camera card directly to P.O. Box 316542, Chicago, IL 60631.

What if I have actual photographs?

You can either scan your photos and memorabilia yourself (300 dpi recommended), or send them to us and we can scan them for for a fee.

I can’t decide which photos to use in my book – can your designers help?

It sounds like our photo selection service is for you! Our designers will review your catalogue of images and choose the best to tell your story. This is a great benefit for those who are short on time or are reluctant to delete digital images.

Can you incorporate other media into my memory book?

Absolutely! Many customers submit digital scans of artwork, newspaper articles, report cards, awards and other special keepsakes for use in their Memory Book designs. You have three options for submission: scan the media at 300 dpi and submit the jpeg file; take a digital photograph of the item; or submit the hard copy to us for scanning.

How long does the Memory Book process take?

After your initial consultation you will receive a pdf proof of your book within one week of our receipt of your images. Delivery of your finished product will occur within three weeks of proof approval.

What if I am on a tight timeline?

Rush books are available for a fee.

My proof looks great but I have a few changes. How do we proceed?

Every Memory Book includes an initial proof with one round of free edits. If, upon receipt of your revised proof you decide to make more changes, we charge $25 per round of additional edits.

There’s something in the background of one of my photos that I would like removed. Can you help?

Sure! We can alter most images for a per-photo fee. Just let us know what you would like and we will try our best to make your image as it should be.

Will your designers crop my photos?

In most cases, our designers treat every image as a treasured memory that should remain in tact. There are a few instances where Memory Book format requires us to crop a photo to fit to the page. If you are looking to have a specific image cropped, just let us know when your initial file share takes place or during your first round of edits.

I received my initial proof and some of the photos are out of order. What should I do?

Our designers strive to tell your story as best they can derive from your shared catalogue of images. This often means using them in roughly the order that you originally submitted. If you would like to alter the layout of your Memory Book, simply send your Memories WOW! consultant a list of your changes via email (or call and explain your changes over the phone).

Can I add captions to my Memory Book?

Yes you can. Captions can be submitted with your initial file share in Picasa, or after you see the layout of the entire Memory Book in your initial proof. Depending on the amount of text you submit, typing charges may apply.
